Here's baby opening and closing his/her mouth. Can you guess what's going on here? I couldn't.
Sonographer Courtney told me the baby is taking in fluid, swallowing it and then peeing it back out only to repeat the process. I think my reaction was, "Eww."
Courtney it's all sterile and it's a great way for the baby to practice the process of consumption, digestion and excretion.
Wow.
The final shot in this video shows our baby's legs and bum. Envision him/her sitting on a copy machine and you'll get the image.
